DAILY ESCURSION OF VENICE

With this excursion you can reach, with your private driver and a comfortable car/minivan Mercedes the city of Venice, elegant, precious, inimitable, romantic. 
In this timeless city the churches, palaces, ancient bridges, monuments and squares tell a story made of art and culture. Once you reach the city centre with one of the many motorboats or boats either independently or with a local guide (on request), you can admire the splendid St. Mark’s Square surrounded by works of incomparable value such as the impressive Bell Tower and the Basilica, with its five portals and the decorations of marble and mosaics, which anticipate the magnificence and richness of the interior. The Palazzo Ducale, symbol of the golden age of the Serenissima; the Torre dei Mori, better known as Torre dell’Orologio, which has marked the time of Venice for centuries. There are several historic cafés overlooking the square and among them, not to be missed the wonderful Caffè Florian, the oldest cafè in Italy, opened in 172. Among the eminent customers who have sat at its tables, there are also Giacomo Casanova, Lord George Gordon Byron, Ugo Foscolo, Gabriele d’Annunzio and many others. 
Not far from Piazza San Marco lies Campo Santo Stefano with the church of the homonymous name. From Piazza San Marco you may cross the famous Ponte dei Sopsiri, enjoying a marvellous view of the lagoon. Continuing in your walk, you will reach the famous Ponte dei Sospiri (Bridge of Sighs). Here you can enjoy a marvellous view of the lagoon, then reaching the "Castello" district, rich in architectural masterpieces, you will find the church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli, the church of San Zaccaria and last but not least the church of San Giovanni in Bragora. Venice is famous all over the world, not only for its wonders and the uniqueness of its conformation with its canals and various insulae, but also for the International Film Festival which takes place in the historic Palazzo del Cinema, on the Lido. The best way to admire the city from a new perspective is a private gondola ride. At the end of your excursion you will return, with your driver and one of our comfortable vehicles, to the point of return.
